Along the Coast
Although this is a slightly longer and more winding route, the scenery is breathtaking, giving drivers uninterrupted views of the ocean. From the airport get onto the N2 (Settlers Way) and follow this through until the turnoff onto the R44 at the last traffic intersection and follow the beautiful route through Somerset strand , Gordons Bay , Rooi Els , Betty’s bay and Kleinmond – until the T-junction. Turn right onto the R43 and drive until you arrive in Hermanus. This would take about 90 minutes from the airport
Once you arrive in Hermanus
Follow the road till you get to the first big traffic circle follow – the pointers to Stanford, Gansbaai. You will pass through 2 more large circles in town along your journey. At the 3rd and last circle, you will enter as Main Road and exit the circle straight ahead at the 7th street exit. An old home turned into a restaurant called “Lizettes” will be on your right hand side. Continue down 7th street till no 318 at the left of the road.
